For Immediate Release WDI OPEN HOUSE, OCT. 22 [The Ridgewood News] October 16, 2009 — Women’s Digital Imaging of Ridgewood (WDI), 79 Chestnut St., is holding an open house on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm to introduce Breast Specific Gamma Imaging (BSGI) to physicians and the public. Dr. Lisa Weinstock, director, and her staff will be available to explain the procedure and answer questions. BSGI, which is recommended for selected patients after a mammogram, finds early cancers with fewer false positives than MRI and has been found to have no claustrophobia for patients.
